Pan Seared Strip Steaks


Ingredients:

2 New York Strip Steaks
1/2 Tablespoon Butter
1/2 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper

Preparation:

Heat a frying pan that will accommodate the two steaks until it’s hot. Add a swirl of olive oil and the minced garlic. Season the steaks with salt and pepper and cook on high for 2 to 2 ½ minutes per side for medium rare. Add the butter to the pan, allow it to foam a little and baste the steaks.

Remove the steaks and allow them to rest at least 5 minutes. Serve with a baked potato along with a side veggie of your choice for a great, quick and easy to prepare dinner for Dad. Fresh Strawberries cut up and soaked in a little wine with whipped cream over them would be the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner.
